Yoga + Hot Tea+ Writing Your Birth Story in Community “This workshop is designed to guide new and seasoned mamas through a gentle and restorative yoga practice; then with warm blankets, tea, and good company, we will carve out time to write and share parts of our birth story. Writing down your story will allow you to preserve some of the details from your birth you wish to cherish. Sharing your birth story in compassionate place will allow you to heal from some of the difficult parts and integrate it into your being. Bring photos, your favorite journal, and comfy clothes. No yoga experience required. New born babes are welcome.
Who needs to process their birth?
Everyone. Literally every person who has given birth needs to set aside some time to process the experience. Even if a birth seems to have gone smoothly to others in the room, the birther may still have experienced disappointment, guilt, shame, or trauma at some point during her pregnancy, birth, or postpartum experience.” Sunday February 17th
