A couple of days ago, we welcomed in a full day of (fairly) uninterrupted sunshine & I spent many hours out in the yard trimming back the winter's weathered growth in preparation for spring. What a joy it was to clear away the winter accumulation & see such hopeful new life teeming up from the earth! It reminded me once again how fortunate we are to live so close to the earth & in harmony with the rhythms of nature here in Oregon.
